Blush
Obviously the heat was getting to me yesterday. All my purchases came in the form of a pastel summer tone.
Lets see how long i can go without my traditional black.

Firenze
Pat and I at the top of Piazza Michelangelo, Florence.
You are stellar
Meet me in outer space
We could spend the night
Watch the earth come up
I've grown tired of that place
Won't you come with me?
We could start again
How do you do it?
You make me feel like I do
How do you do it?
It's better than I ever knew
Meet me in outer space
We could spend the night
Watch the earth come up
I've grown tired of that place
Won't you come with me?
We could start again
How do you do it?
You make me feel like I do
How do you do it?
It's better than I ever knew

Graduation day
Besides my summer basics, more invisible zinc and papaw and my belated Easter eggs (yummmm Cadbury Turkish delight eggs). Mum and dad besides making the trip to Italy were also thoughtful enough to get me a graduation gift. So beautiful my linked bracelet and matching ring. So stunning. Its a new highlight amongst the other junk on my wrists. Finally with Pat's arrival I received my eternally awesome skull sewing thimble.
So overwhelmed and grateful to be surrounded by the people I love to help celebrate the conclusion of this experience.

Roma
Highlights from the two days Pat and I spend in Rome this week.
What an amazing start to our travels, blue skies and some of the most iconic ruins in history.

Zombieland 2!
"When all the girls in your neighbourhood are now fucked up little monsters, Oh maybe it's time to stop driving carpool."
Can't believe they are making another one. Classic! Can not wait.

ORANGE
My summer sandals arrived yesterday, and the weather finally is behaving like it is spring again.
Orange is definitely shaping up to be my favourite colour for these warmer months ahead.
(we heart it, Positano, Almafi coast, Top shop sandals)

Gigantic lemons and bad weather in Positano
While the weather was underwhelming, and I was recovering from a cold, Positano was still an amazing get away. We even ended staying longer than expected, purely on the hope of a sunny day. Sadly the weather did not oblige.
We did get one beautiful afternoon, finally we had a use for the amazing balcony at our hotel.
On Monday we splashed and splattered our way out to the island of Capri. Regretting my packing choices as we sat on the front of the boat to see the beautiful caves and grotto's around the island.
Up in Anacapri we visited Villa San Michele, former home of Axel Munthe. Mosaics of Pompeii skeletons lined the floor, and a Sphinx over looking the sea to realise his dreams. It was a place full of character that was a joy to witness, even as the wind blew.
